Food Truck
LEC Requirements
1) The
event and facility is located at the Legacy Events Center (LEC), Farmington, UT
The official LEC
contact for food trucks is: Mike Moake (801) 451-4091.
The LEC is a
separate entity from Sweet Bee Events.
2) The
LEC Food Truck requirements are as follows:
a)
application
b)
insurance
c) food
handlers permit
d) 10% of
food truck sales
e) see requirements in the
attachment
3) Sweet Bee will officially have
building #2 starting at 8am. That being said, some vendors will be
pulling up and loading their supplies into the doors, and front, at that time
as well. I've asked the vendors to be set up one hour prior to the
event. This is mostly like the most ideal time for trucks to set up:
around 10am.
4) Sweet Bee does not require a fee
from the food trucks. However, the LEC, has their requirements of
food trucks: a) application b) insurance c) food handlers permit d) 10% of
truck sales.
5) Although there has been several
vendors who have expressed interest in the event, at this time, two, 1) The
Food Truck League, has made a call, or expressed they would contact the LEC to
join the event; and 2) Waffle Love has communicated they will officially be
attending the event.
6) Based on past similar events
& markets such as Sweet Bee, and the current response rate to our social
media event invitation, I anticipate between ( ) people will attend.
However, percentage of sales and traffic is not guaranteed.
7) There is no parking fee to the
public or food vendors. There is no general admission fee. This event is free
to the public. The public may park in several parking lots.
8) The LEC has a designated
spot for food trucks. The parking spot for food trucks is located inside the
gates, near the building. If you are accepted, I will email photos and a
map of the designated parking space for vendors.
9) Food trucks may stay as long as
they possibly can between 10am and 5pm. If you are accepted, please let
me know asap, so that I can announce & advertise that food trucks will be
there, the times, the food, the truck vendor, etc. - a head at time, so the
public can plan accordingly.
10) If you are attending the event,
please email photos that represent your event, for marketing purposes.
